Claire Estill is a Partner at Fox, Wood, Wright & Estill, where she focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, such as personal injury, insurance defense, contract disputes, and real estate matters. In addition to her litigation practice, she advises clients in business and corporate law, estate planning, estates and probates, family law, and school law, offering comprehensive legal counsel across a broad range of practice areas.


Since joining Fox, Wood, Wright & Estill in 2018, Claire has established a reputation for her meticulous preparation, strong advocacy, and client-centered approach. Her leadership within the firm culminated in her promotion to Partner in 2025. Claire also serves as an Assistant County Attorney for Mason County and an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the 19th Judicial Circuit, where she prosecutes cases and provides legal guidance on behalf of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.


Claire has strong community ties to the Maysville-Mason County area and has been recognized for her professional excellence and community leadership. Claire has received numerous honors, including Maysville’s Top 4 Under 40 (2024), the Ion Center Icon Award (2022), and Best of the Best Attorney honors in the Reader’s Choice Ledger Independent Awards (2020).


Deeply committed to public service, Claire serves on multiple local boards and community organizations, including the Tom Browning Boys and Girls Club, the Saint Patrick’s School Board, and the Leadership Horizons Board. She actively contributes to community initiatives addressing youth engagement, domestic violence prevention, and access to legal resources.


Claire is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Mason-Bracken Bar Association, and the Kentucky County Attorney’s Association, among other professional organizations.


Based in Maysville, Claire enjoys a life filled with travel and family adventures. When she’s not planning her next trip, she can be found cooking for loved ones or spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and their dog.
